• Confirm and manage reservations, including sending pre-arrival reminders or clarifying questions.
• Process on-property payments and security deposits securely through our front desk system.
• Meet legal obligations such as tax reporting, occupancy logs, and incident reports requested by local authorities.
• Improve guest services by noting common requests (extra pillows, ground-floor rooms, etc.).

Sharing & Third-Party Services

We are a small independent motel and do not sell guest information. Your information is shared only:

• With payment processors and booking partners (e.g., booking engines, OTA sites) you use to reserve.
• When required by law, such as responding to a subpoena or complying with health and safety orders.
• With trusted vendors who maintain our reservation software or website under confidentiality agreements.

Data Retention & Security

• Reservation records and guest folios are stored in a secure PMS with role-based access for our front desk managers only.
• Paper registration cards and IDs are locked in an office cabinet and shredded when no longer required (up to 3 years, per California hotel law).
• Payment card data is tokenized by our processor; we do not store full card numbers on-site.
• Wi-Fi network logs are retained only for troubleshooting and are automatically purged every 30 days.

Your Choices & Rights

• Request a copy of the information we hold about your stay by contacting the front desk.
• Ask us to update or delete inaccurate personal details (subject to legal retention obligations).
• Opt out of non-essential emails or text notifications at any time by replying “STOP” or telling us.
• Disable non-essential cookies in your browser when viewing our website; core functionality will remain.
